Beautiful amber color, hazy, with creamy head. Nice aroma of a coffee bag. The mouthfeel is rather dry. The flavor is just similar to a mug of coffee, and it’s beery just in its carbonation and enhanced bitterness. Good beer. Maybe drinking it before bedtime was not a good idea…

Orange in color with red tinges. MInimal head (beer was cold), strong hoppy aroma. Mix of coffee and hops in taste, finishes clean despite all the hops.
Pours a dark copper colour with a slightly brown colored head which leaves a nice lacing.. Strong aroma of expresso and a hint of chocolate. Flavour is mostly sweetie malts and a light floral hoppy notes with a strong expresso finish
Looks great. Light mahogany with white head and good lacing. Espresso coffee aroma with some hint of citrus hops in the backgroud. Flavor matches nose and very well balanced. The finish is nice with a lingering mix of coffee, cocoa, and bitterness. Very interesting beer.
Strong coffee and chocolate coupled with cereal graininess in the nose overpowering any hop character. Clear deep tan-gold body is topped by a decent and long lasting off white head that laces well. Flavour is as the aroma suggests. Coffee and chocolate are up front with a long espresso-like bitterness in the finish. Medium full body with moderate to strong carbonation. Quite drinkable but seems more like a light porter than an IPA. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle purchased at the BCLS at Hellsgate in December 2012.
