RD400F (226) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 28, 2013

Appearance: Transparent burnt amber with a fluffy white mousse like head.
Aroma: Slight burnt caramel, biscuit, some resin in there too.
Taste: Not bad...caramel, toffee, some corn. A hint of grass and citrus. A hint of corn...
Palate: Pretty smooth, but it has a slight "cheap beer" feel to it because of the corn taste. There’s also a slight astringency that you would find in a cheap lager as well...
Overall: A simple, cheap beer that gets the job done without being shitty. Not outstanding by any means...just like the government.
Bottle. Aroma of roasted malts. A bit watery for my liking, but not horrible.

Pours a clear amber with a big frothy off white head that leaves lots of lace. Aroma of caramel, biscuit malts and some sweet floral hop aromas on the finish. Taste is caramel and biscuit malts with a light bitterness on the finish. Overall this is a very nice easy to drink amber ale. Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Another nice hefty bottle for brewed beer. Pours a slightly hazy orange/red color with a very tall, frothy, off white head. Aroma has a strong toasted, caramel sweet maltiness with a modest amount of light citrus hops with a light earthy kick as well. Flavor has bit of a maris otter toasted flavor with a lot of sweet caramel malt and some light earthy/citrus hops presence at the finish. Body is light with a sharp fine carbonation presence. Overall not too bad.

Drinkable. Light beer scent, pours amber. Mild, sweet taste, some grass. Light bodied, not too carbonated. blankboy (7735) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 28, 2013
Can [500ml]. Pours a deep orange-amber with an average size lasting foamy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Sweet aroma of fruit, caramel malt, light hops and nuts. Flavour, also somewhat sweet, of caramel malt, light nuts, light hops and that’s it, simple. Light bitter finish. Average bodied. Nothing exciting here but as far as Amber Ales go it’s decent.

caramel, bread, toast, grass, vanilla, amber, orange, clear, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, slick feel, average carbonation, bitter,
Pours a nice amber almost approaching copper with white foam. Foam does not last long, but the sweet, toasty, and grass aromas linger (I’m sure there’s some vanilla in there too). Taste is very light on the sweet with bread and refreshing citrus. Bitterness is understated but balances well. Light carbonation gives this thin bodied beer a slickness on the tongue. Finishes slightly dry with a mild bitter aftertaste. Finn (7836) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
