Drinkable. Quite plain. I’ve found amber ales can be all over the place, this one is mellow compared to many. A little hop balance in the background, overall it’s fine, no more no less. XaenDovet (1282) - British Columbia, CANADA - APR 21, 2012

such a good brew. mmmmbeer introduced me to this, and i'm thankful. local pub serves on tap, which i had today, and it was a treat. poured with a decent head, that left good lacing on glass. right now drinking out of bottle and reviewing. aroma boasts sweet malts, and light flowery scent. refreshing. taste is fresh with the malts again showing good presence. colour is clear, light copper. all around good beer. Deep clear copper, frothy off white head slowly fades. Faint sweet malt aroma. Taste is grassy thin bitter hops and light caramel malts. Lively carbonation, light bodied and a bit waterey. Light bitter finish. Mundane. LF (Lagerboy Friendly) Strangebrewer (1308) - Chatham, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 22, 2011
bottle. Poured clear dark amber with a beige head that left great lacing. Sweet aroma, caramel and apricot. Medium mouthfeel, creamy carbonation. A rich malty backbone, notes of caramel, nuts, and finishes with medium bitternes. Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 11, 2011
Clear copper colour with a white frothy head. Medium carbonation. Sweet honey malt aroma. Smooth texture. Little thin in body with a sweet malt flavour.

341mL bottle poured a clear amber color with a big white head which settled quickly to spots of lace. Aroma is caramel malts with a mild hoppiness. Taste is caramel sweet with some hop bitterness in the finish. One of the better amber ales that I have sampled. Bendrixian (1514) - Canadiana, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 27, 2011
500ml can. Clear brew with amber/red colour. is co2 heavy and shows some lace. Aroma is muted a little (from the filtration i presume) but has a malted profile showing nice caramel notes and butterscotch mixed with some floral hoppy notes...light hops and light malts. is more of the same in the palate, has some nice crafted notes of malts upfront and finishes hoppy but lacks any real character, which i pressume has been striped due to filtration. an easy brew, nothing special.

500ml can. Clear amber pour with short eggshell head that leaves a puddle of lace. Decent fruit and brown sugar on the nose with a hint of hops and a touch of roastiness. Pretty light on the palate with some fruit and brown sugar. Nearly nonexistent finish with the faintest hint of hops but no real bitterness.

UPDATED: DEC 18, 2013 Amber body, light head, not much lacing. Aroma of sweet malts and nuts. Not a lot of flavour, some sweet malts. Lively palate. Okay. pumpmaster (1393) - Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA - JUN 18, 2011
