UPDATED: MAY 26, 2011 500mL can - pours a brownish amber. Flavour is nuts, citrus, and kind of metallic (not in that bad a way). Refreshing and pleasant Tree brew.

Canned sample. Brownish amber in colour with medium carbonation. Fairly basic aromas of caramel malts, a bit of toasted nuts, and a very faint citric hop note. Malt forward in the mouth with more caramel toffee flavors. The orange C-hop elements come through a bit stronger here as well. Lighter bodied than expected, with an earthy bitter finish. Not overly compex, but the subtle hopping and dry finish make for an easy drinking pint. Not bad.

Bottle. Pours a medum amber with a white head. Aroma is malty. Tastes really malty with light hoppiness. A really good amber ale, great for those who like malty beers.

Amber colored amber ale with white foam. Aroma is pleasant roasted malt and light hop character. Flavor of caramel and light red fruits with zesty hop undertones. Finish is thin and lacks complexity but this beer is good for drinking without thinking too hard.

Bottle. 5%. Clear, copper ale from Kelowna, nice, moderate white foam. Taste is malt, hops, little caramel, fairly sweet, but no linger in the finish. Aroma is quite nice, however, this beer presents very well.

Clear orange color. Some amount of sweet malts on the nose as well as buttery notes. Buttery taste with bitter flavors.

Nice enough looking beer, at least, with an appealing amber (duh!) colour, accompanied by a mild malt-infused aroma. Taste was like it was "tinned", not really much to like about this beer, sadly.

turboespresso (256) - Port Moody, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 6, 2009
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2009 500 ml can. This is a good-looking beer. Pours a nice light copper colour with a big creamy head that unfortunately does not last long. Not much aroma. Has a nice body. Typical pale malt flavor. As the beer warms up, and the carbonation subsides a little, the malt flavor starts to sweeten and noticeably improve. The hop flavour is not that strong.

Thirsty beaver one of my favorite party beers high quality, inexpensive, and the name and label are great conversation topics. Honey brown in color and maybe just a touch of red, a medium sized tan head caps of this brew, a good sized skiff remains after a minuet or two. A very light hop aroma is present followed some nice caramel malts, overall the sent is smooth and rich, but could be a touch stronger its a little difficult to detect. The taste is very nice light hops built on a good strong malt back bone, dam so very malty, so much rich tasty malt flavor, accented perfectly with light hops. The beer is full bodied and creamy and leaves a sweet bready after taste. Such a good beer well crafted with tons of flavor."
