caramel, bread, butterscotch, amber/orange, clear, minimal head, light sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, light bitter vanilla finish
Pours a nice amber copper with very minimal head. Aromas of vanilla/spice/bread immediate, and begin to fade quickly. Caramel and vanilla aoma lingers longer. Quite thin mouthfeel with slight cabonation. Flavour of vanilla and light spices combine with an initial slight sourness that turns to a lightly astringent, short lived bitter finish with more vanilla. Reminds me a bit of vanilla creme caramel. A nice light Christmas time beer. ryanhunter_4 (330) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 12, 2017
355 ml bottle poured at home. Pours copper with no head. Smells like caramel. Tastes like chocolate and vanilla. I really enjoyed this but probably wouldn't want to have more than one or two as it's very sweet.

Bottle - Malty with significant vanilla aroma. Clear amber hue with minimal head. Toasted malt taste with a ton of vanilla but not too sweet, ever so slight bitterness in the finish. A little too carbonated for my taste, but a nice tasting winter ale. RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 17, 2012
Light copper pour. Aroma is biscuit, along with vanilla. Light body, relatively thin, average carbonation. Flavour is lightly roasted malts with hazelnut, caramel, and vanilla. Sweet, but not overpowering. Session worthy. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 Pours a clear light amber with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, chocolate and some spiciness. Taste is vanilla, nuts, light chocolate, roasted malts and a nice mild bitterness on the finish. Overall a nice winter ale but a bit too artificial in the flavors.

Rating #857 - December 24, 2013. Amber brown pour with a minimal tan head that fades quickly to a ring. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, vanilla, Strong malty notes predominant, slight roasty bitterness. Light bodied, balanced sweet winter ale that is beyond crushable. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 11, 2011
Last of a 6-pack. Dark amber with a lasting head. The microbubbles tell me this is a good beer! Aroma is thick and a bit cloying. Gives the impression that the beer might be syrupy. Interesting candy-cinamon scent is intriguing. Reminds me more of pumpkin beers. Has a gourd-like palate and spice though not the pumpkin flavour. Instead it is a vanilla strength of an NW amber. Big spice mouth feel and finish. Cinamon with a hint of nutmeg and soft pepper. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 16, 2013
Pours a clear copper with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is vanilla, sweet chocolate, and mild spices. Flavour is vanilla, nutty, caramel, roasted malts, chocolate, and a mild bitterness. Not as overpowering as some say and from the Aroma the Flavour is more tame than one might expect. adamnowek (3185) - Brussels, BELGIUM - AUG 5, 2016
Copper colour. Aroma is a whole lot of vanilla and some caramel. Taste is even more vanilla, but it’s overly sweet, sadly.
