500ml bottle from supermarket in Torfyanovka, clear pale yellow colour, small frothy mostly vanishing white head, fair lacing. Moderately malty sweet aroma of hay and caramel with some butterscotch and a touch of floral hops. Taste is initially lightly sweet and acidic, turning into an abrupt sweet and sour finish with a little bitterness. Light to medium body, dry mouthfeel, lively carbonation. A bit more interesting than the stuff of this kind usually is mainly due to a small amount of yeast esthers. Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 10, 2015
