lo que sea. estas birrias son mi estilo. me gustan mucho mas que las IPA y las belgas que le encantan al gordo
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a semi-dark mahogany almost brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace.
The aroma had some caramel/toffee malts up front with some grassy hops. Nuttiness is there but a bit more fainter than expected.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side and never really brought the nuts. Malty sweet aftertaste and finish.
The feel was a bit under from being medium bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, with so many brown ales on the market and me being a fan of the style, I don’t necessarily see this as a top tier one. katrinaez (2139) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2016
Pours dark brown. That’s about the only thing that matches a brown. Mild, sweet aroma. Only a mild malty taste to speak of. No nuttiness, no nothing. A bit watery. Tap at brewery. rumproasts (5478) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 8, 2014
bottle. Brown with small head. Average-ish brown ale. Substantial malt body. Slight nut. A little on the thin side, but plenty of flavor.

Pours brown with minimal head. Well carbonated though in the mouth feels like a soda. Slight aroma of roasted malts but not much. Medium to light in body. Overall not much going on. Drinkable but not much more. Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - OCT 6, 2013
Bottle. Dark amber with a tan head. Caramel and nut aromas. Sour taste with some bitter malt.

Carmel and toffee notes, small tan head. smooth and enjoyable beer especially with grilled meats. alexsdad06 (10589) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JAN 20, 2013
12 oz. bottle shared by DrSilverworm. Pours brown with reddish highlights and a small beige head. The aroma is, well, pretty much not there. Perhaps some very light toasted malts and some herbal notes. The flavor is pretty basic brown ale stuff; dry, light roast, a hint of chocolate and some earthy notes. Nothing bad, just not much to it at all. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 9, 2012
Sample from a 12oz bottle. Brown but clear color. Little light brown head, few dots of lace. Good light smooth carbonation, dry texture, medium body. Nice light chocolate toasty malt aroma. Mostly bitter taste, little bittersweetness. Good earthy hops. This is a nice brown ale. I haven’t been too impressed with the few I’ve had from this brewery, but I do like this. milewide (2287) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - NOV 27, 2012
Dark brown color with medium head. Thin body. Very modest roast aroma and taste. Drinkable, but not memorable. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 07/20/2012. Brown pour with medium foamy beige head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, fruit and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a short malt aftertaste. Fairly average overall.
