A nice session beer well balanced and pleasing. Much better served in a glass than straight out of the bottle, resist the urge to skip this step. Once this beer breathes and warms a little it mellows significantly and becomes tremendous. spicyfrog (1) - Michigan, USA - APR 10, 2013 does not count
This is a great example of a Helles Lager. Great beer to introduce people to craft beer. wyseman3 (10) - Freeland, USA - APR 8, 2013
Slight biscuity/grainy aroma. Dark golden color with nice head and carbonation. Slight biscuity taste with just a slight hop presence. Great all around drinking beer. u080088 (4) - Bay City, Michigan, USA - APR 7, 2013 does not count
Love this beer. One of the best lagers I have ever had. Crisp and clean, yet very full bodied. I will look for this again. Patrickctenchi (6625) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 5, 2013
Hazy gold with a short, off-white head.
Light fruit, sour grain malt aroma.
Taste is rather tart fruit, apple, slightly acidic.
Very crisp and carbonated, increasing tart/sour.

Bottle. Sour lemony malt aroma. Hazy medium gold with a large off-white head. Sour astringent lemon and grassy bitter flavor. Light body, lively carbonation. mwbrady12 (469) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 28, 2012
Intriguing aroma and basic appearance with a balanced taste and minimal mouthfeel.

bottle - Pours hazy yellow-gold with a small white head. It has a mild cereal malt aroma. The flavor is moderately sweet and very straightforward. It’s light bodied and refreshing. Decent. skoll (420) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Nice golden pour, good sweet and hoppy aromas, taste was a little off, of steeley sharp, not quite skunky may have to try again to see if i got a bad bottle. rumproasts (5425) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 18, 2012
golden with small head. grainy and bland. nothing awful about this, but it’s about as boring as beer gets.
