Cutting Tiles is an exploratory series of Double IPA’s featuring a range of aromatic single hop varietals brewed with raw wildflower honey. This new version is dosed with 100% El Dorado in all kettle, whirlpool and two massive dry hop additions. The local wildflower honey keeps the body light and drinkable but provides a earthy backbone. Trillium TTO at Beavertown. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth and thin malts, mildly sweet. Fresh orange and tangerine hop. Sweetish floral into a touch of unsweet melon. Tropical fruits away in the background. Trace of apricot and peach on the finish. Very nice but doesn't quite have that wow factor for 4.

Bottle @ Blåbær '17. Deep golden hazy pour with a decent head. Tons of orange juice, orange peel, light citrus and a light sweetness.

Lovely tasty hop juice. My goodness I want more!!
Cloudy yellow color with a fine white head. Decent lacing also. Powerful nice hoppy aroma. Medium + body and a smooth fine carbonation level. Nice fresh bitterness. Not over the top and a fine semi dry ending. Perfect balanced. Did not notice the elderflower honey to much. Because it had a nice fine grapefruit flavor that probably killed it. Also pine and tropical stuff in the flavor. A fine lasting tail. Yummi!

Really hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma has sweet malt, some honey, overripe orange and a hint of peppermint. Taste is sweet and fruity at first but gets really dry, slightly astringent. Aftertaste is long and quite sweet with dried orange peel flavor. Medium body and carbonation, quite dry. Overall it’s quite interesting with a different hop profile.

And honey which adds a great depth to it delivering light sweetness and spice. Another awesome treat from Trillium and Guruhso!
