COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshingly hoppy American pale ale, Little Rooster is another edition in our "Small Bird Series" of lower ABV offerings brewed for the summer. The nose is an intense, complex fusion of kiwi, citrus, and fresh hop. Candied peach, grape jam, and orange fill out the flavor profile, with a firm bitterness. Dry and effervescent, light to medium bodied.

ABV: 5.8%

MALT: American 2-row Barley, Malted Oats, Dextrine, C-15

HOPS: Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin

16 oz. can from mark000 - thanks again, Mark! Pours a hazy gold with a small white head that settles into an uneven ring and patchy middle island of film. Notes of citrus, pineapple, florals, grapes, stone fruit, melon, sweet and doughy malts, and a little pine. Light-medium bodied, with modest carbonation and a fruity, bitter mouthfeel. I liked this quite a bit better than the Itty Bitty Goose. Really pops compared to that one.

Tallboy can thanks to Joe Beer. Poured a super hazed deep yellow with a long lasting dense foamy white head. Aroma is floral, fresh grass hop petals, citrus and light tropical fruit juices. Flavor follows suit. Body is medium mouthfeel with delicate carbonation that leads to an overall softer mouthfeel. Great beer.

Growler shared on the Vineyard. Pours murky gold with a small, frothy white head. The aroma holds grainy pale malts, some pithy grapefruit, piney dankness. Light sweet flavour with notes of husky bitterness, lemon peel, more pale grains. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with some grassy bitterness, more grains, some pith, citrus rind. Overall, well below what I would expect from Trillium.

On tap at the brewery in a tulip glass: This is stupid good for the ABV. Pours hazy golden with a one finger head. Aroma of peach, grapes, pineapple, and light cat piss. Taste is a perfect balance of sweetness, citrus, and hop bitterness. Just a really drinkable IPA with no trace of booze and tons of flavor. It’s fantastic.

Hazy yellow orange. Aroma and flavor explode with stone fruit, tropical kiwi mango and citrus rind, all in a crushable 5.8%. One of my favorite pale ales for sure!
