Note:<b/> what a beer! And to think I was a bit reluctant about ordering this one, when I saw it for sale at the website. In all honesty, this is just a (white) ipa though, not really a wheat ale...
Pretty cloudy blond to light beige beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fantastic smell, lots of ripe tropical fruits, passion fruits, mango, some pineapple. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: wow, very bitter, bit acidic, lots of dank hops. Aftertaste: bitter, grassy, some tropical fruits, bit soapy, nice stuff! Very hoppy, resinous, pineapple, lots of grapefruit, bitter finish.
16oz can from Chalumeaux. Thanks, TJ! Dated 10/10/17. Pours orange gold with a big off white head. Aroma is wheat, orange, grapefruit. Flavor is grass, orange, wheat. There is a mineral bitterness in the finish, as described by the brewer, and I think it takes away from this beer a bit. Decent, but not one of Trillium's finest. Poured from cam dated 10/10/17 hazy orange with a thin white head. Aromas of scallion citrus and floral hops. Taste is creamy balanced bitterness fruit citrus pith. tapefuzz (969) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 21, 2017
16oz can. Pours a barely hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is peach, orange, orange peel, light pineapple, melon, a tiny bit of onion, and some wheat. Taste is peach, herbs, orange, resin, dough, light melon, some bread, a little garlic, and a little wheatiness. Bitter, mineral finish - the weakest part of the beer. Light-medium body. Moderate but slightly prickly carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel. Fairly IPA-like. Wheat presence is very light. RRistow12 (994) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - NOV 10, 2017
Tasted from can. Pours a hazy gold with white head. Nice fruity aroma. Lots of orange, peach and lemon. Also some grassy notes. Well balanced taste. Citrus and tropical flavors with a hint of wheat notes. Really tastes like a New England ipa. Very well done.

Hazy golden orange pour. A beautiful ipa masquerading as an “American wheat ale.” Stanky Citra and Galaxy, body is a touch fizzy, otherwise superb. 4.3++ kraddel (9425) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - OCT 25, 2017
Thnx to Geoff. currently rated the best wheat ale in the world, highest rated i had is like 15. So pretty curious about it. Rock my world, trillium ! Drank from the can. Smell is intensely hopped ( quite 'green', floral, tad fruity ) Taste is sharp, fresh bitter, crunchy maltyness ( not really very wheat-intense to me ) mostly hoppy, of course, with it being fruity and floral at the same time. Ends rather fast ( not much hops survive to the aftertaste ) mildly bitter ending. Pretty good, but like I said, I might have expected more wheat in this, and less hops, for it to be truly ' the best wheat ale' . This is a damn fine IPA, with wheat, to me. Pours a hazy orange with minimal head. Lemon and orange flavors. A little resiny on the back end.

16 oz. can from mark000 - thanks again, Mark! Pours a hazy gold with a small white head that settles into a ring and three small islands of film. Notes of orange citrus, wheat and doughy malts, pineapple, apricot, florals; more fruit and bitterness in the flavor, and the aroma is drier and wheatier. Light-medium bodied, with low carbonation and a fruity, bitter mouthfeel. Really nice. I had no doubt this would be a god tier wheat ale.
