Can many thanks to Rickles. Pours deep brown black, nitro-ish looking deep espresso brown head. Aroma is pure cold brew, espresso, bitter grounds, chocolate. Flavor is dark bitter coffee, dark fruits, cranberry, bitter cocoa, mild citrus, mocha. Lovely beaut of a stout. Klimaet (3039) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - NOV 26, 2017
Can shared by Mads. Thanks! Pours black with a small brown head. Aromas of cold brew coffee, chocolate, light ashy, nutty. Taste has bitter cold brew coffee, light malty, nutty, ashy roast and a subtle caramel-like sweetness. SG111 (2054) - New York, USA - NOV 20, 2017
Canned 10/26/17. Pours pitch black, gorgeous tan head. Aroma is lots of roasted coffee, but it's not just like sticking your face in a bunch of raw coffee beans. It's a balance of coffee (not overly aggressive), with roasted malt, but prominent notes of vanilla, chocolate, sweet sugar. Flavor is sweet chocolate, roasted coffee, plenty of vanilla. Really full bodied but still silky smooth. Body is perfect. I can't believe how good this one is. madmitch76 (25797) - , Essex, ENGLAND - NOV 18, 2017

Beavertown Trillium TTO. Keg. Hazy deep brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and airy and has reasonable fine carbonation. Nice light coffee and creamy malt combine to give rich smooth coffee and cream! Fruity coffee emerges along with a little earthy coffee. Mild dark chocolate. Light smooth finish. Mmm - one of the best coffee beers I've had and so light. Delicious.
Can thanks to Mads. Aroma of light acetaldehyde, cold brew, mild chocolate. Black with tan head. Taste is moderate- sweet, light+ malt bitter, coffee. Medium body, oily feel and coffee finish.

16 oz. can via local trade - thanks again, Tammy! Canned 10/26/17 - this is the unretired one at the moment, so I guess this is where my entry should go. Cans are not marked with specific beans. Pours a deep, opaque coffee brown, near black, with almost a finger of tan head that settles into a ring and thin patchy film while leaving some trailing lace in the glass and a few ropes behind the trail. The intial aroma is great, just a huge wave of coffee, but the initial flavor is too bitter, like a really rich baker's chocolate. Over a minute or two, they both settle and balance out, showing dark chocolate, cocoa powder, caramel, fudge, roast - espresso and mocha would be my two quick descriptors. Medium-full bodied, with modest carbonation and a rich, roasty, sweet, slightly bitter mouthfeel that lingers with plenty of roast. This is really good, the first time I've been truly impressed with a non-hoppy offering from Trillium. Chalumeaux (1756) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 16, 2017
Poured from growler nice blackish red pour with a creamy mocha head and nice lacing in the glass. Aromas of intense coffee roasted chocolate malt. Taste is amazing. Rich fudgy chocolate balanced coffee integration luscious mouth feel. Amazing can only imagine this in a bourbon barrel. WillRunForBeer (2782) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 16, 2017
Howler shared by Chalumeaux. Big thanks, TJ! Pours nearly black with a caramel brown head. Aroma is intense dark black coffee with a hint of toffee. Flavor is amazing. Dark coffee dominates with brownie batter, a hint of toffee. Luxurious mouth feel. mabel (9874) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2017

Aromat to esencja kawy, mam wrażenie, że wypiję zaraz zimne espresso z dodatkiem czekolady. Smak: espresso, gorzka czekolada, choć z czasem przechodzi w słodką, słody palone, troszkę ciemnych owoców na języku. Bardzo dobry stout!
