In another exciting collaborative effort with our neighbors at Barrington Coffee Roasters, we bring you a bold American stout infused with cold-brewed coffee. PM Dawn exhibits an earthy, freshly roasted coffee bean and dark chocolate/mocha nose. The flavor profile consists of vanilla, hot chocolate, and caramel along with rich espresso. With a medium to heavy body, luscious mouthfeel, and light bitterness, PM Dawn is balanced and full, smooth with a drying roast character.

Tap at Trillium, Canton. Colour is almost black with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, dark chocolate, cacao, vanilla and roasted malts. Coffee dominates again but now it is just just tolerable.

Can from the brewery. Nose is soy sauce, coffee, umami, chocoalte, miso. Sweet chocolate flavor with coffee and miso paste. Lots of soy umami going down here. Tasty.

473ml can shared with Vanessa on January 2nd. Aroma: cold coffee with subtle vanilla, light tobacco and light roasted malt. App: pitch black with medium frothy mocha head leaving great lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, extremely smooth, light to medium sweetness, light bitter and tobacco. Overall: interesting beer. The kind of beer I would drink outside on a hot day. Like drinking a pimped alcohol version of cold coffee from a fine roastery. Excellent!

On tap @ Trillium. Pour is deep brown with a very small beige head that quickly fades. Notes of earth, caramel, chocolate, coffee, cane sugar, and slight booze.

Splitting hairs, but probably the best batch I’ve had. Coffee heavy but perfectly integrated with the vanilla and stout. Less bitterness. Really a treat. 4.3+
