Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, green coffee beans, soft roast, caramel. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of cold coffee, sweet and sugary, caramel, very sweet, alcohol, soft bitterness, more coffee. Aftertaste: pretty roasted, bitter, coffee, coffee grit, very sugary, mocha, brown sugar.
473ml can shared with Vanessa on January 2nd. Aroma: cold coffee with subtle vanilla, light tobacco and light roasted malt. App: pitch black with medium frothy mocha head leaving
great lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, extremely smooth, light to medium sweetness, light bitter and tobacco. Overall: interesting beer. The kind of beer I would drink outside on a hot day. Trillium Tap takeover at Beavertown 08/07/2017. A mahogany brown coloured pour , viscous, no head. Aroma is lovely big praline, coffee, woody coffee bean, vanilla and praline, chocolate. Flavour is composed of woody, chocolate, praline, layered malts, rich cakey malts, coffee bean. Palate is smooth, viscous, full bodied. Very good. Can many thanks to Rickles. Pours deep brown black, nitro-ish looking deep espresso brown head. Aroma is pure cold brew, espresso, bitter grounds, chocolate. Flavor is dark bitter coffee, dark fruits, cranberry, bitter cocoa, mild citrus, mocha. Lovely beaut of a stout.
