UPDATED: FEB 3, 2018 Bottled 02/02/17. Enjoyed 02/02/18. 1 year exactly on it. Pours gorgeous pitch black, tan head. Aroma is tons of coffee, vanilla, cinnamon, some pepper in the back, cocoa, roasted malt, maple brown sugar. Excellent nose. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, Chiles, vanilla, more brown sugar, roasted malt, coffee heavy. Really good. It’s not mind blowing on its own (no aspect stands out) but somehow as a complete beer it is excellent. Very pleased. sebletitje (10547) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JAN 12, 2018
Bouteille @ Annual Tilquin Enthusiasts Admin tasting, merci Kevin.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to the team. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth and soft palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth, soft and rich dark malts, nice dark chocolate. Smooth mellow coffee and mild dark fruits. Pinch of chilli, nothing overcooked. Smooth finish. Wonderfully light and tasty.
Bottle split at L42, team purchase, 19/10/17.
Black with a solid tan covering that retains well .... a real looker.
Nose is coffee grinds, black peppery spice, decadent chocolate notes, mellow roast.
Taste comprises chocolate xauce, vanilla, more coffee load, black peppery spice, molasses, melted sugars, big old roasted bite.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost.
Xolid well balanced impy stoot with great interplay between roast, sweet and spice ... surprised the overall score isn't a touch higher.

October 2017 - Bottle share at One Canada Square. Huge thanks! As 'Trillium / Prairie Trillbomb!', 11%. Black, opaque, foamy dense brown head leaves thick lacing. Aroma is cocoa powder, chilli, little lactic, coffee bean. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is cocoa, a little red pepper, some coffee, building dry chilli vibe, spicy and a little twiggy in the finish. I liked it. Bottle shared on Level 42 - well done team! Pours black with a frothy, beige head. The nose holds ashy roast, burnt marshmallows, chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavour, with gooey chocolate, some ashy roast, toasted caramel. Full bodied and chewy, with fine carbonation. Rich finish, with tons of chocolate character, lightly bitter coffee, brownies, raisins. Nice mocha character. Lots of fun. radarsock (1223) - Massachusetts, USA - NOV 11, 2017
An imperial stout I was interestingly able to stand. tderoeck (10983) - Gent, BELGIUM - NOV 7, 2017
One of the guests brought it to the Medford share, decanted triumphantly with harpoon corkscrew.
All in all: boxed dark chocolates airily sweetened with coconut sugar, rum-soaked raisins, black bread, charcoal, honey malt, and the swiftest hint of dried citrus pith. Coffee a backstage illusory presence.
Bares strikingly similar flavors, namely the dark chocolates with coconut sugar and rum raisins. From this setting, dares to spawn muddled mint, campfire-kilned malts, and the quickest coffee zing. Peppery in its spiciness, experienced only in the first few initial sips. Cocoa prominent in Trillbomb's entire performance.
Burnt honey, coffee beans birch syrup and a rip of bitter earth tillage, wraps the finish all together.
Graham crackers amused to be part of the show, lollygagging behind the gang.

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, not much else happening? MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: lots and lots of chocolate, some coffee, cocoa powder, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: lots of alcohol, bit sweet, sugary, chocolate notes, coffee.
