COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunshower is our Super Saison, a high-gravity farmhouse ale inspired by the ethereal refreshing mid-summer moments when we experience both rainfall and the heat of the sun in New England. Similar to our flagship Trillium, the mouthfeel is light and effervescent with a bright, golden hue. We allow the fermentation temperature to free-rise that favors the saison yeast strain’s in the blend to realize its full attenuation potential which results in a dry beer with strength and complexity. Layers of pepper and earthy characteristics that play nice with the crisp, smooth backbone of a pilsner and wheat malt bill. ABV: 8.5% MALT: Pilsner, White Wheat, Flaked Wheat HOPS: Columbus, Amarillo, Falconer’s Flight

Lightly hazy straw colored body, medium to large white head, and soapy lacing. Peppery saison yeast, some bubble gum, bitter citrus rind, some herbals, and light cracker. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, assertive bitterness, and a lingering zippy finish.

Redbeard hooked up this gem.. Pours slightly hazy pale golden.. Spicy light clove and wheat malt.. lesser apricot and hints of orange zest... Pretty proper saison, though it seems very big boned and could be dumbed down a bit.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of Belgian yeast, stone fruits and fruity esters. Flavour is along the same lines, with fruity esters, stone fruits and sweet Belgian yeast. Not an authentic saison by any means. This is really disappointing for Trillium.

Bottle courtesy of mydude.
Pours nice and yella’ real hazy with a fluffy ol’ head.

The aroma is wet limestone, mild tart fruit & some peachyness. Is’s earthy & inviting without much alcohol Character on the nose.

The flavor is lightly fruity, dry, and pleasantly bitter in an herbal way. It’s got some mild alcohol sting, but that’s subtle. It’s bright but has an ever present minerallity.

Fun

Bottle, Pours golden haze. Notes are ultra hoppy for a saison like all the trillium farmhouses. Bitter and dank with a touch of pepper saison yeast but the hops totally overshadow any balance. Some peppermint as it warmed.
