Portrait: Une belle robe cuivrée avec une mousse blanche. Un nez bien épicé avec du girofle et autres épices de Noël. Une bouche où l’on retrouve ces épices de Noël mais aussi des fruits et malheureusement un alcool.

The flavor is rye heavy, toasted grain center finish come off slightly floral / earthy notes. Also has a spicy / peppery yeast finish. Mouthfeel still has a a nice carbonation level that gives a lively zip. Yeah, Belgian styles are not what this brewery does best but overall still pretty nice and drinkable.
Poured from bottle thanks Airforcehops dated 2/8/16 deep amber with nice lacing and a thin off white head. Aromas of rye caramel yeast citrus and hop. Taste is caramel malt yeast and floral notes. WillRunForBeer (2803) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 22, 2016
750ml bottle shared by AirForceHops. Thanks, Chris! Bottled 02/08/16. Pours deep mahogany with a greyish off white head. Aroma is fruity sweet grass, rye spice. Flavor is mild caramel, rye spice, peppery yeast.

750ml bottle from brewery shared with the drain. Aroma: biscuit malt, caramel, grapefruits, and lots of rye and barley. App: cloudy red, small white head, good retention, good lacing. Taste and palate: medium body, resinous, oily, medium sweetness, light bitter finish. Overall: not that good. Way too sweet. Was way better at 4C. Now, I find it hard to drink. Sample at a NYC-tasting at jredmonds place. Deep amber/ mahogany beer with a nice beige head. Rye bread aroma, hops, citrus, perfume notes, grassy, some spices. Pours a clear copper with a small offwhite head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of toasted cereals, pepper and other spices. Taste is lightly fruity, lightly sweet, bready and spicy. Moderately bodied with a medium carbonation. OK overall but falls short for a Trillium.
