3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz can. Clear amber with a puffy, off-white head. Nose is orange and toffee with a bit of pine. Medium body with soft carb and a buzz. Taste is orange, pink grapefruit and pine.
3/17/17. On tap at Southern Ale House. Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Surprised by this one! Nice aroma, hint of dank, loads of tropical fruit and citrus. Good flavor, doesn’t quite deliver on the aroma, mild bitterness, some pale malts and graininess, citrus, and touches of fruitiness. Not bad! brandon1989 (691) - Lewisville, Texas, USA - JAN 17, 2017
Pours a hazy golden color with a frothy two finger head. The aroma is quite nice. You pick up orange peel, pineapple juice, very citrus forward. It truly has a great aroma. The flavor is more of the same with some white bread. I also pick up some pepper and lemon in there as well. The mouth feel is light to medium. As the beer warms the hops become more profound. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 19, 2016
Pours a medium dark golden orange. Aromas of citrus hops and a touch of pale malts. Flavor is crisp bitter citrus hop with a nice lingering aftertaste. Aggiebob (1296) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - AUG 14, 2016

Amber pour. Small off white head. Little lacing. Aroma of burnt sugar. Dish water. Not much in the way of hops. Taste is a boozy sugary sweetness. Nor much malt or hops.

Trimtab IPA has a medium, slightly off-white head, a clear, amber appearance, some bubble streams, and a thin sheen of lacing left behind on the glass. The aroma is of floral hop resin, brown bread crust, and light caramel. Taste is of those elements, with a spiciness and strong, yet, not harsh, bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, and Trimtab IPA finishes drying and easy drinking. RJT Vestlake (279) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 17, 2016
Can pour. Orange color and slightly hazy. Big tan head, great lacing all the way down the glass. This is a local beer that they just started canning. Great fruity, hoppy aroma. Taste is well balanced between sweet malt and fruity hops and has a pleasant bitter finish. Great IPA and a staple in my fridge. 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - APR 27, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2016 Hazed amber-orange with an off-white head of some retention. Aroma impression is overripe peach, apricot, candy syrup, tomato, with a very faint note of bile. Medium bodied and savory, semi-sweet with a prickly grip of finishing bitterness. The carbonation is fine and silky and the body has an enjoyable savoriness, but the aroma/flavor isn’t put together very well. The use of Pacifica confuses me, since the aroma is nothing like what I know of that hop from traveling in New Zealand (it’s like a new world Saaz strain, and this beer has that tomato stink you find in Summit). Pours a faintly cloudy golden with a dull white head. Citrus nose. Full and mostly slick with a faint carbonation scrub. Sweet, but not malty. Citrusy. Decent IPA. zimbo (971) - SCOTLAND - MAR 11, 2016
51 points? 51 points? You gotta be shitting me. Sure its not Alesmith IPA but at 61 UBU this drlivers good resinous bitterness, strong structure and a rich jody/hoppiness on the tongue too. Looks pretty good too?
Are the stupidly low scores because it from Alabama? Sure they don’t play hockey down there but you shouldn’t hold it against them. This is pretty good.
