Cask. Light copper. Citrusy hoppyness, caramel malty. Quite nice bitter. Some herbal tones, earthy ones. This is a nice ale.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2011 Cask poured, pale cloudy colour, with a slight floral aroma and taste. Had a very sour almost vinegary after taste. had strange sediment in the bottom of the glass. Not sure whether this was a bad cask, or a bad ale, but I had another pretty poor tring ale after this one. Either way, was dreadful..avoid! N.B - I believe that this was due to acidic sediment from the bottom of the cask. This is probably not a true reflection of the ale quality.

SaintMatty (7518) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - AUG 25, 2011
Cask (Turf Tavern, Oxford) - Gold/amber in colour. Tea, lemon and malt in the aroma. Tea, hops, lemon and malt feature in the slightly sweet taste.

Cask (Kingston Arms, Cambridge)
6 Sticky raw hop aroma.
3 Orange bitter, small head.
6 Boring. Malty, little more than that. Fake honey taste too.
3 Sticky palate. Bitter finish. You’re left with nice graininess.
13 Comes together as you go down the glass. Pretty OK.
