From the bottle, pours a very dark mahogany color with a tan head. The smell is caramel, toasted malt, rich fruit. The taste is as it smells unending fruity and crisply dry. Medium in body with average carbonation.

Many thanks to ThirstyBird for sharing. The beer starts smooth and malty. Nice caramel there with chocolate hints. Easy to drink with a nice caramel body. Smooth, rich and round with not too much bitterness. Nice smooth chocolate aftertaste! Great!

Rune (13372) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 7, 2015
Cask, half pint at Lion and Key in Hull. Crocheted lacing from low beige head. Rosewood coloured body. Dark malty smell, caramel and bread. The taste profile follows suit with dark caramel, dark dough and with moments of dried fruits towards the ending. Well bodied. Fits the season very well (shared with Finn, 25.11.2015).
