Tea Kettle Stout Cask- Pours a near pitch black with a tan head. The nose is roasted dark malts, coffee, bitter dark chocolate. The taste is as it smells, rich, roasty and bitter. Very flavourful. Light+ with average carbonation. Really nice beer.

BlackHaddock (7092) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - DEC 4, 2016
Cask half-pint on 4th Dec 2016 at The Crown Inn, Oakengates. Black bodied, tanned head: proper looking Stout. Mild chocolate and liquorice notes in both the nose and taste, no Tea like esters or flavours for me: just an easy drinking semi-dry Stout. Enjoyed it.

Gravity at The Stoke Beer Festival. A deep brown colour with a thin beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, some liquorice, a little molasses and subtle dark fruits. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice, some coffee, slight dark fruits and subtle molasses. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, slightly grainy, chocolate bitterness in the finish. Nice chocolatey and liquorice flavours, however its a little thin and grainy. Ok.

Cask HP at Hamilton Hall London as Tring Tea Kettle Stout, 4.7%. Opaque black with a creamy brown head. Aroma is ashy, some coffee. Body is smooth and creamy with low carbonation. Taste is ashy, milk chocolate, liquorice, toffee sweetness, light resin, breathy ash and milky instant coffee. Not very bitter but has a long finish. Classic British stout. Quite rich and slow drinking, but a nice one to take slowly.

Cask at The Hopbine, Cambridge, Monday 5th September 2016 Pours almost black in colour, quite cool (temp) but tastes good for being a little cooler. Like a light milk stout, light creamy milkiness, soft mouthfeel, really pleasant beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
