Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Blond color. Smells like homeless guy on the bus. Moderate acidity; the dough flavor is too strong; a bit lemony.
With this smell and the doughy yeast, this is very poorly executed.

375ml bottle. "Consciously vegan", haha, way to paint a target. This is a gusher, though am ild one, pours like soda with no head. It is sour and lemony, some spice, nice brew, but a bit of carb issues.

DocLock (11106) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2017
Bottle from Smith’s. Pours clear golden with frothy, white head. Nose is hugely funky and yeasty. I had to check to make sure I hadn’t scratched my nuts before I smelled this! Tastes tart, funky, yeasty, with lactic acid notes, lemon, hops, citrus. This one harbors more yeasty funk and micro-organisms than Madonna’s crotch after a 2-week trip to Spain.

cmacklin (1331) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 11, 2017
375ml bottle with a wax seal. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a medium, short lived, fizzy, off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sour aroma of lemon and brettanomyces with light wheat. Sour flavour of lacto, lemon, wheat and vinegar with a crisp, dry, tart, acidic finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Lacks complexity but is still not bad.

375 ml bottle from Systembolaget a while back. On April 14, 2017. BBE Jan 2018. Waxed.
Hazy pale golden color, small white head. Acidic, sour, some cheese, green berries scent. Acidic, oddly sweet, tangy, green berries taste. Sour aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, no bitterness. Leaves a sour sensation in my stomach a good while after finishing half the bottle, glad we shared it on two, since I wouldn’t have finished a whole bottle myself.

Turtles (3001) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2017
375 ml bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, medium size white head, some lacing. Funky aroma, barnyard, hay, apple and fried mushrooms. Smooth and tart mouthfeel, soft carbonated. Citric taste mild funk, barnyard, earthy, mushrooms, mature cheese and green apples. Dry and tart finish. Very drinkable!

hivemind (933) - New York, New York, USA - APR 5, 2017
Bottle at home the other night. Pours misty blonde with small head; pilsner-looking. Grassy and sweet herbal nose with some yeast. Yeasty palate with brett, ripe banana and sour overtones. Mild acidity but not a ton of underlying flavors.

ej (1330) - Hauglandshella, NORWAY - APR 1, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden with a small white top. Brett and hay on the nose along with hints of citrus, stables and fermented apples. Taste is light acidic, tart with hay, apples and brett. Quite drinkable and nice this, but still some way to go compared to the great Belgian ones. Light body and fizzy on the palate.
