halfonit (1371) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 31, 2013
On tap at the source. I believe this was a nitro if my memory serves me right. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is of pine needles, hops, grain and grapefruit. Flavor is pretty much the same with some booziness permeating through. Flat tasting. Very hoppy beer which will make the hop heads happy. Imaena (2327) - Maputo, MOZAMBIQUE - DEC 5, 2013
Draught. This IPA went too far. They threw the entire available stock into this mash and the end product is skin blistering. mrmartin (780) - New York, New York, USA - NOV 27, 2012
SLighty hazy amber pour with medium off-white head. Nose is strongly hopped.
Clean and hoppy throughout edges taken off by barrelling. Bitter finish. Nice DIPA Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2012

Travlr (25250) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 25, 2012
Draft at the source. Hazy golden color, thick white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus. Taste is grapefruit, grass, pine. Good mouthfeel. j12601 (12673) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 11, 2012
On tap at Trinity. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Soft candied hops, sticky malt. Medium bodied, big bright bitterness right away. Long and slightly abrasive. Big and bold, pungent, malty sweet. Sticky, but the pungent quinine and grapefruit do a decent job of balancing. Well done. zizzybalubba (1873) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Sampled at GABF 2011. Hazy orange pour. Aroma of pine needles and grapefruit with a touch of mango. Surprisingly well-balanced yet hop-forward with a good amount of pine and grapefruit flavor. Very good. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - JUN 17, 2011
On tap at SAVOR 2011. Served in a goblet.
Pours a nice copper color with a small, off-white head and some average lacing on the way down. Spotty with a thin collar. The nose carries a good amount of bourbon and oak. Light tannin and wood. Not much hop character. The flavor is all bourbon and oak with a bit of vanillin. Not bad, but the hop character is pretty much gone, other than the bitterness in the finish. Medium body and a bit of sweetness with light carbonation. Interesting concept; fairly well executed.

Draft at SAVOR. Poured a dark golden/amber color. Aroma was pine, strong citrus notes, caramel, grassy hops. Flavor was sweet, citrus, caramel notes, piney hops, oh so hoppy! The alcohol content is surprisingly well masked for such a high ABV. This was about as perfect of an Imperial IPA as I can think of. Next year guys?
