Bottle courtesy of beerandblues2, thank you sir! Deep dark hazy pink color, large pink head with good retention. Aroma of pink champagne and flowers. Taste is oily rose petals and heavy perfume. The booze kicks in five minutes after you drink it, so sit close to the floor. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - NOV 18, 2011
Sampled at the DC gathering at GT’s place. Thanks Brad! Pours a rich clear amber with small ring of head. Floral and perfumy nose and while it doesn’t ’smell’ like alcohol, there is a faint ’burning of the nosehairs’ when sniffed. Flavor of honey and apple and lavendar and lots of spices like allspice and grains of paradise. Warming sensations but not overly boozy, which is quite surprising. Very good. Thanks to mday for sharing some of this at DLD 2011. Thanks, Mike! Served in a SAVOR snifter.
Pours a nice pinkish-red color with a nice white head and some good lacing as it goes down. The nose is really quite sweet with some funky fruits and a bit of a floral character. A bit of acid. More acid, really. Nice and spicy with a fruit and herb dimension. Floral again. Really takes the range of characteristics. The flavor is no different. Certainly knocks down the flavor rainbow throughout. Nice spice and a strong fruit character. Really hard to believe this is a 14% beer. Pretty good body and carbonation. Highly enjoyable.
Judging by the other reviews, I wonder if there might be some bottle variation. Some rather extreme bottle variation.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2011 bottle. Took into my office to rate on the computer. Opened and it exploded all over my desk, rushed it to the sink and literally half of it was already gone. Thanks trinity, what is that, like $14 bucks on my carpet? It was a god send that it didn’t get to my new computer. Anyway, well, its a rich red ruby color with no head (maybe that was all lost). Aroma of well, lots of things, caramel, cherry, cinnamon, other spices and fruity tones. Full bodied. Alot going on in the flavor, pretty complex, with fruit, spices, a very soft, subtle funk / tartness. Pretty nice. Ratman197 (14958) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - MAY 22, 2011
Bottle poured a hazy amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of bread, fruittiness and light floral notes. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, floal and fruittines with a smooth dry lingering fruity finish. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - NOV 18, 2011
Toffee and floor cleaner aroma with strawberry. The taste is very sweet, lots of apple juice and cherry, light strawberry and banana. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - NOV 19, 2011
75cl bottle, thanks BeerandBlues2. Smells and tastes like a mixture of house cleaner. Slightly fruity with a lot of booze. Not a fan. kbutler1 (1381) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Bottle. Gushers! Smells like beets, and vegetables. Pours a slightly murky rust color. Minimal head. Taste odd, not as flavorful as I though it would be. Sweet, that raisins stand out. The booze shows a bit. Just ok.
