ganache (6111) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 18, 2018
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2018 Bottle. Nose spelty-wheaty (although neither are in there, lol), good mix with lemon and Saaz, bit of a vanilla-meringue thing going on there, dusty. Pour hazy yellow-golden with a too-huge eggshell head. Taste tangy, lightly sweet, low bitterness, subtle rye that reminds of German bio-beers (a certain grainy tang), bit chalky feel, strong carbonation. Touches of vomit and very faint acetone, also some swirling but indistinct fruit esters. Hay with a clean lemon finish. Doesn't really have any standout feature, but does have a natural, outdoorsy rusticity. [2018.01.18: 2.9] crossovert (14233) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2017
375ml bottle. This one is overcarbed but decent, some peach notes, spice, not terrible, just some qc issue. omhper (26043) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 26, 2017
Bottled at Monk's American Bar, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of pineapple esters. Fairly sweet with light-medium body and clean mouthfeel. Pineapple, green apples and mild spicy hay. Drying out somewhat towards a finish with fairly low bitterness. Bit too clean malt profile. jgb9348 (6648) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - MAY 30, 2017
Super hazy golden coloured body with a nice hazy honey, like raw honey glow along with a crisp and nicely microbubbled pure white head. Aroma of bread, yeast, dried flowers, light spices, coriander seed, curacao, white pepper and bunches of floral elements - nice and super grassy at the finish as well. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours at first with flowers, light spices, pepper, yeast, bread, honey and a lot of coriander seed freshness throughout. Aftertaste shows mostly of the very dry and grassy flavours coupled with some subdued hop flavours, a hint of the honey and sweet notes and ending with a complex and noticeable yeast bite that shows somewhat of some funky and spontaneously fermented flavours as well. Overall, a nice and very dry/grassy saison with a lot of complexities, a very mellow finish and nice for the warmer months, while still leaving a lot of flavours around - great for a Memorial Day beer here to celebrate the holiday in the USA! I sampled this 37,5 cL bottle from The Brew Shop in Clarendon/Court House (Arlington), Virginia on 27-April-2017 for US$4,29 sampled at home in Washington on 29-May-2017 after returning from the Eastern Shore [of Virginia] earlier in the day to commemorate Memorial Day 2017. gripweed57 (3045) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAY 24, 2017
375 ml bottle. Cloudy pale gold color topped by a massive foamy white head. Many small bubbles. Tart, lemony malt nose. First sip is zesty pale malt with notes of oats, wheat and earthy yeast. Light, dry, spicy malt in middle, hints at white pepper. Dry spicy finish and warming alcohol. Very good.

375, corked and baled. Pours a cloudy very bright pale gold with a dense and fizzy bright white head. Nose is decidedly on the skunky side, also showing some lemons and floral notes. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lemons, light funk, and floral notes on the palate. Long tangy cereal-y finish. argeru (106) - Hillsboro, Oregon, USA - APR 3, 2017
12.7oz; possibly bad bottle; pale clear yellow, big foamy soapy head; smells off, astringent, wheat, egg white, foam, sort of like bleach; taste is bitter and unbalanced, weak, slight harsh at the back. Not sure about this one. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2017
On tap at the brewpub, pours translucent golden with a billowy white head that fades to a cap. Light banana, bubblegum, black pepper. Light malt grains. Finish is lingering and slightly dry. tapefuzz (976) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 28, 2017
12.7oz bottle. Pours hazy pale gold with a medium white head. Great appearance. Aroma is straw, grass, some lemon, earth, leather, honey, and a little bit of pepper. Taste is tart with grain, lemon, oats, honey, cereal, brett yeast, spice, and very light pepper. Some light sweetness. Dry, clean finish. Light-medium body; body is slightly higher than it should be but still pleasant. Relatively high carbonation. Crisp to frothy mouthfeel. hman43 (1957) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JAN 13, 2017
It pours pale yellow with a bit of haze. It has a large white head that does leave some Belgian lace on the sides. It has some earthly aromas. There are also aromas of lemons, sweet grain, oats, and hints of leather. It has a spicy flavor for the initial impression with earth and leather. There are also hints of lemon and faint hints of grainy sweetness in the background notes. It has a moderate body on the light side with a strong spicy aftertaste in the finish. There is a high amount of carbonation as well. Overall, the beer is dominated by the spices with the earth and leather in the background and low levels flavorings in hints.
