Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours a cloudu amber with an off-white head. Sweet fruity and citrusy nose. Rich, sweet body, heavy residual sweetness, loads of citrusy hops although somewhat drowned in sugar. Quite some heat. 150313 wchesser (2076) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 2, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 18, 2013 At Boulder Strong Ale. Very good DIPA. Nose is just what I want in the style...right balance of floral, dank, and citrus. Solid malt core with mostly citrus and tropical hops in the flavor. Haven’t been able to drop the money on this before, but having tasted it, it’s still a bit steep, but not out of line.
>>>Rerate...gonna leave the points, but tap at Ernie’s Pizza-Denver. Smelled like a wet dog, tasted worse. Never had such a disparity between beers. Dirty glass?? Straight up nasty. NachlamSie (3483) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 21, 2013
On tap into a snifter at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a good head. So all of the talk of blowing me away with hops, so where is it? Sure, this is kind of hoppy and it’s very clean and tasty, balanced, even. There are notrs of pine, ginger and a little citrus. The finish is nice, semi dry. It’s a good beer but not stunningly hoppy. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Tap. Pours vibrant clear amber with average, fizzy white head; decent retention and some lacing. Aroma is mostly muted with notes of grassy and floral hops, biscuit and cookie malt, lemon, straw, honey, and light spice. Flavor is floral and pine hops forward with supporting toast, sweet malt, and light fruit; dry finish with a touch of bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation. Enjoyed both on Tap and in the Bottle both from Trinity Brewing. In the 750ml bottle superior over both CO2 and Cask.
