Enjoyed both on Tap and in the Bottle both from Trinity Brewing. In the 750ml bottle superior over both CO2 and Cask. pablo951 (676) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 27, 2016
Had it on tap/cask at Trinity.
Right away the aroma tells u it’s gonna be a good time, part dank, part punany, all the hops. Pours a deep orange hue with a thin white lasting head. The aroma and taste are what a IPAs should be. The taste is so f’n smooth, it’s smoove!! The taste belies its powerful 10.5 ABV, and did I say smoove! Makes me want to slap my daddy as well. p1meatloaf (256) - Corvallis, Oregon, USA - SEP 10, 2011
750 ml bottle bought from the brewery and opened into sniffer in San Diego. Beautiful double ipa! Smells full of sweet fruity citrus hops. Tastes pretty strong bitterness and medium thickish bodied but rather smooth on the palate. There is so much great hoppiness going on in this brew. Overall 9 of 10. Grundlepaste (10) - - JUN 9, 2012
Very strong hop aroma. 125 IBU according to the fine lad at Tap and Handle, yet the taste does not necessarily reflect that. It has a more balanced complex flavor than some of it’s counterparts that advertise an obscene IBU level. It does have the sweeter taste that goes along with being a double IPA, which also hides the fact that the beer is sitting at 10.5 abv. Overall, a very impressive beer. A must have. This beer is spectacular! I wouldn’t recommend to everyone...only to IPA lovers. I enjoyed it though!

On tap at Trinity Brewing in Colorado Springs, and more later at home via bottle numbered 481 poured into a Trinity "Kill the Pint Glass" snifter. Pours a beautiful cloudy burnt amber with medium head/lacing. A touch of citrus, a heavy double dose of hops, and so freakin' smooth! I love this!

750 ml bottle, bottle number 198/12 (I think). Pours hazy copper orange with a monstrous rocky off-white head that retains well and laces the glass.waolsen (1376) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - DEC 4, 2010
The aroma is big sugary tropical fruits with some dank hops and pine.
The flavor is sweet tropical fruits with a lot of piney dank bitterness. There’s a bit of warming from the alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, an excellent DIPA. Slightly too sweet and alcoholic (and pricey at $17 a bottle).
Tap @ brewery. Copper pour. Thin head that laces. Great earthy hop aroma with citrus. Great hop bomb with nice malty backbone. Top notch BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - DEC 17, 2010
Wow. Pine and wonderful vegetal hops on the bitter aroma. Similar flavors in this golden elixer. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - OCT 13, 2011
sample at GABF on 10/1/11. cloudy golden pour with a 1 finger white head. big dank citrus hop nose. medium to full body with aggressive hops throughout. citrus / floral bitterness through the finish.
