COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Soured with Lactobacillus delbrueckii and complimented with heavily fruity American hops. We use a touch of coriander to reinforce the citrus theme of this beer. Although no fruit is used, this specialty IPA structure drinks refreshingly juicy and extremely session-able.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow color, with a big, khaki head and tons of lacing. Lovely aroma of pineapple and mango, with some lemon peel, light yogurt, and honey. Sweet at first, with a mild sour note, and almost no bitterness. Light to medium body, with a creamy, smooth feel. Very nice, with a bright hoppy aroma, and mellow, pleasant flavor.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2017 Bottle. Moderate aromas all around with hay and straw for the malt, grass and pine for the hops, musty basement for the yeast, with white grape, apple and parsley in the background. Head is large, frothy, white, with thick but slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy medium amber. Flavor starts moderately to heavily acidic and acetic, then finishes moderately acidic and sour. Palate is light to medium, watery, with a fizzy carbonation and a tart finish. Perfect balance among the aromas and juicy refreshing flavors make this an excellent Sour Ale.

Crisp, yet slightly hazy copper and light bronze coloured body with a thick, nice four centimetre tall rather soapy off-white head. Aroma of sour funk, coriander seed, light yeast, a lot of citrus and soured notes and finishing off with a faint bit of tropical fruits. Light-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong grassy and very herbal flavours with a bit of perfume and sour funk all noticeable right off the back. Aftertaste shows a more refined bubbly sour and funk flavour with yeast notes around, hints of bread, a little coriander seed freshness, some sugars from lactose or caster sugar and ending with a hoppy flavour, but not overtly bitter or pungent, just noticeable, and in a good way. Overall, a nice and super-refined beer with a lot of character, some yeast and funky flavours that show well and lead to a lot of complexities, especially near the end, but some sweetness and no real pungencies or anything to detract. I sampled this wax-sealed 37,5 cL bottle purchased from Pear Delicatessen in Seattle, Washington [state] on 18-Feburary-2016 for US$7,20 sampled at home in [the real] Washington across the country on 03-June-2017 a few hours before leaving back for Colorado!

olsvammel (7274) - Örebro, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2017
Bottle at En Trappa Upp in Örebro. Fruity smell with citrus, mainly oranges. Similar taste. Tart. Refreshing. I had their Red Swingline before this one which was not in this beers favour. Should have had them the other way around so had to take a break and re-try this. At first I didn’t even feel the tartness but I came through after the break. Nice!

Bottle, from Highcraft Beer Market,Cary NC. Good aroma, fruity funky. Citrus, on the lemon side, but other fruits come and go as I sniff it. Big on the lacto. Tad hazed brownish orange color, good head that faded quickly to a ring. Moderate sour, lightly sweet flavor. Light body, thin smooth mouthfeel, sour finish that lingers. Solid sour. Aroma best part, imo. Real good hoppy lacto mix. Flavor tad less interesting, but all good.

jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 6, 2016
Bottle in a taster. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma of light sourness, some fruity and lightly bitter hops, pale and caramel malts. Flavor the same, with the sweetness of the malts a little too strong. Average texture. A pretty good beer, but could be modified to be better.

jbruner (5124) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - AUG 1, 2016
Pours a hazy gold from the bottle withfluffy white head. Aroma is funky lactic notes with fruity hops throughout. Taste is even more of everything, nice lactic notes, good hoppiness, solid for a sour IPA.
