375ml bottle @ home. Pours a cloudy golden orange colour with a decent white head. Nose is quite funky and hoppy. Flavour is definitely lacto, some white wine influence, oak, and a hoppy finish that is quite dry. 100 IBUs? It is well hidden but still packs a punch with a moderate sourness.
375mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with medium white head. Aroma is fairly funky for only having lacto, along with prominent candied malts and fairly aggressive resinous hops. Flavour is quite lacto-heavy, with a prominent white wine barrel presence, oak, and dry resinous hops (no candied notes on the flavour really). Finishes nicely bitter, but not harsh given the 100 IBUs, with moderate sourness and quite low acidity. Really nicely balanced. For 4.1%, it sure packs a punch. Excellent. Golden pour with a white head. The aroma has some strong tangerine notes plus some tartness, oak and funk. The flavor is similar. I get some huge chardonnay barrel notes and some light oak, plus some sour grapes. There is also some nice orange and tart lemon notes in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. slowrunner77 (12455) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 5, 2015
Way over the top on the baby diaper nose, and the jaw clenching sour. The ipa is totally covered up, which can be ok, but this was too much for me to enjoy. Much prefer the "wild" ipa. easy swinger. Ratman197 (15100) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JUL 12, 2015
375 ml waxed top bottle poured a cloudy gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of straw, tangerine zest, lemon zest and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of straw, grapefruit, lemon zest and a hint of tangerine with a crisp dry bitter lingering sour citrus finish.

Big tropical fruit aroma. Quite tart, bordering on over tart, slightly yeasty, slight acetone. Meh. Mep3222 (1596) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - MAY 21, 2015
Aroma of lactic sour, passion fruit ( but woody like fruity flavors from the barrel) and some tropical hops. Taste is tropical hops, lactic sour, maybe 5or 6 of 10, no really funk, which makes sense as this one is sans Brett. I really like the complexities of this one and the flavors the lacto adds to the base beer. It is quite good. This is like a hopped version of Avery likikoi, but when likikoi had a boatload of passion fruit prior to when the cut it back for canning. Hopped with tropical hop flavors and more sour and woody. Really great!!

Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2014, cloudy golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice resin, pine, pineapple and mango into a bit of tart lemon, touch of biscuit into a bit of earth, yeast, bread. Taste was a mix of lemon, orange, grapefruit into a bit of grain, some biscuit, touch of resinous notes, finishing bitter. GothGargoyle (2587) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2014
