Poured from a 750 ml bottle, 565, dated 3/2013.
Aroma is moderately grainy and wheat based with some moderate acidity and light citrus. Faint tropical fruit notes.
Pours a somewhat cloudy, pale yellow straw with a faint white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs.
Flavor has a moderately strong acidity with some lactic character and a bit of citrus. Touches of wheat notes with some faint fruit character. Not as complex acidity as in the more highly scored versions of the style. Acidity is a bit harsh and chemically.
Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium light carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice beer with a lot of acidity but the complexity is lacking. Hints of fruit, wheat and malt,

Bottle pour at Hunahpu ’14. This was our favorite of the four Trinity we tried. Well balanced tart. Lots of different fruit - lemon, orange peach. Wine, wood. Really nice. 8.0 flannelnomad (57) - portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 28, 2014
Shared from a 750ml. Bright aroma of citrus and lacto, lemon sorbet, aged citrus peel. Crystal clear yellow, very little head, thicker body than expected. Not quite syrupy, but a nice, thick body and mouthfeel. Tart lemon wedges, lemonade. Quite delicious and a very unique berliner. I think of berliner’s being very sessionable and quaffable, but this is more of a special sour with Berliner qualities and shows how unique and special Trinity is. djd07 (16289) - Houston, Texas, USA - JAN 31, 2014
Bottle thanks to Bill. Pours a clear yellow with small off white hewd that diminish to nothing. The aroma is lemon zest, funk, and oak. Thin mouthfeel with light tart lemon and funk with nice light dry finish. Really enjoyed this. Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - JAN 4, 2014
Poured from a 750ml bottle. I have been looking forward to this one. The aroma is brite with lactobacillus acidity. The flavor is where this beer shines... sour apple, bready, slightly dusty, some soft tropical fruit notes in the background. This is a great Berliner Weisse. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 13, 2013
Bottle from the BoostedIPA, thanks Shawn! Pours a heavily hazed yellow with no head. Aroma is fresh and acid, full of (yellow) fruits. There is also a strange rubber feel to it, too, but it isn’t offputting. Taste is acid and maybe a little salty (not sure of my notes on this one?...). Lemons but not mouth puckering. Body is really light, alcohol content too. It is really tasty and also refreshing. Nice!
