Honey, small head. Peaty tarry aroma. Taste has some almost poopy elements, but that's because of the peat, I'm sure. Some liver-like aspects too. Finish is pure black tea, massively tanniny. Pu-erh, even. Didn't mellow with the sediment added, even in small quantities.
Bottle from a Carrefour in Bruges. Pours hazy golden with a big, foamy, white head. In the smell, there’s bread, herbs and smoke. In the mouth, the aroma contains hops, spices, yeast, barley, grass, bread, some banana and iron. It tastes light sweet and medium herbal bitter with a short, hoppy, dry, slightly metallic finish. Medium body, slick/watery texture, lively carbonation. Not sure about this one. It’s positively complex, yet whilst tasting I’m getting more of the ’organic’ basis of malt whisky than actual peatiness. Orange trouble en 33 cl avec petite mousse. Le nez est sur la levure, les houblons, l’orange, l’abricot, le pain, légèrement fumé. La bouche est fraîche, gouleyante sur le biscuit et le fruit (orange, banane). Peu d’amertume ! Une "smoked" qui ne goûte pas le cochon fumé ! Bottle from Bacchanalia, drunk at home. Orange/brown, cloudy. Very little head but a fair bit of carbonation is visible. Floral and raspberry notes sit on top of heavily peated whisky in the aroma. Taste is smoky but very dry with a sharp hop bitterness leading to the finish. Astringency in the finish is a bit too much for me, but I must admit it does round off the beer nicely. Heavy carbonation. A tasty and original recipe.

Bottle shared at Cotteridge convention 05/03/2016. Thanks to Scopey. Aroma is earthy apple, bready grains and mellow smoke. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a big rocky froth. This dark-orange beer with whisky malt in it is a real success : good beer with a powerful aroma and "whisky" taste is really a plus.
