COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for Kunstencentrum Vooruit, celebrating their 100th anniversary.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, wheat syrup, hops, yeast. From the website (Google translate from French): "On the occasion of its 100th anniversary, the Kunstencentrum De Vooruit Ghent wished to remind the brewing activity he had had in the early 1900. In this context, the Brasserie Dupont was asked to create a beer based on their wishes. Given the success of this new beer at the event, it was decided to open production for all customers. * Organic beer, amber color, dry and bitter with a smoky note (specifically peat) in aroma and taste. This phenolic characteristic is obtained by using a small percentage of malt specially dried with Scottish peat (malt whiskey)."

25 cl. draft @ Vooruit in Gent. Hazy orange with a very creamy head. Nose is oranges, white bread, sweet flowers, lots of fruit, light campfire. Taste is sweet oranges, flowers, Dupont saison yeast, candy sugar, white bread, creamy & soft, light hops, finishes in campfire, meaty smoke, kindled wood. Full yeast & perfect drinkability body. Crazy session-potential for me. This is like a perfect mix of two brilliant beers Aecht Schlenkerla Märzen & Saison Dupont. Ridiculous. Would have had a couple of more if we didn’t have like 10 more places to visit after this & if Kraddel was enjoying the beer even a little bit :)

Brasserie Dupont Triomfbier Vooruit is an original not to be missed. Lemony, smokey aroma coming off a medium amber pour with a thick fluffy head. Taste is smokey with a touch of smoke. Delicious! The description where I had it called it a "smoked saison" which is pretty accurate. Don’t pass up Triomfbier Vooruit if you have a chance, it is one-of-a-kind.

Bottle from Meuelemans Cloudy peachorange with lasting fluffy dense head and lace. Smoky bready spicy aroma with slight wheaty tang. MIld sweet peach and vanilla with smoky undertones and spicy smoky finish. Soft carbo and and medium light body. Probably the best Belgian smoked I’ve had. Excellent.

Very nice, interesting smoked beer. Appearance has a large billowy head and a hazy-to-lightly cloudy amber color. Aroma is smoke, yeast, fruit, grain. Flavor’s similar to nose with carbonic tang in front, sweet in back and smoke while present, doesn’t overwhelm. Great body. Easy drinking brew.

Me encantó, cerveza sin filtrar, turbia, color oro viejo. Arómática pero discreta. Toque ahumado sin ser exagerado.

Golden body, cloudy, dense head. Lightly smoked, golden malts, great yeast (I like to pour it all in), hay. Really nice mouth feel, smooth yet fresh too. Medium bitter, unique smoked feel for a Belgian ale. Must be the only smoked saison I have had. And really nice, kind of brew. (75cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
