Soft pale straw yellow pour with one finger of white head. Soft citrusy nose. Green and leafy hops with a slight onion component. Green in the flavor and a tad grassy. Strong bitterness/astringent. Very nice upfront but it becomes a little homebrew-ish.
This local IPA is gives the Vermont Alchemist a run for its money. Perfect taste from a can. I have never been to the Triple C Brewery but will definitely be stopping in next time I'm in Charlotte!

Can from Michael (misterburd) -- cheers, buddy! Light, tasty, and hoppy -- this was a great IPA to drink on the patio on a Saturday night. Pretty full hop flavor, but not overpowering. Great swill! tillmac62 (756) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2016
COD 5/3/16. Clear light amber pour. World class head volume, lacing and retention.
Outstanding nose of grapefruit, passion fruit, light pepper and light biscuit.
Medium body that is smooth with a bit of oily slickness. Superb carbonation / body balance. The middle is lightly effervescent while the finish is a nice prickly burst.
The flavor profile is very good, but lacks a bit of intensity and complexity. Balance is quite outstanding. It begins with a blended flavor similar to the nose that shifts to citrus. The middle is mildly bitter (zest and spruce). As the bitterness ebbs, a subtle sweetness emerges that hints at caramel but is mostly biscuit. Passion fruit arrives over the malt. The finish lingers with a zest flavor coupled with a hint of pepper. Travlr (25876) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 22, 2016

In can so couldn’t tell you what it looks like. Citrus/lemon rind aroma and taste. A good basic hoppy IPA. A bit of a palate wrecker, but a good drink Dogbrick (13564) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 29, 2015
This brew pours a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, resiny hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall. islay (2958) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 27, 2015
Approximately 4.5 oz. of a 6 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Charlotte, North Carolina. Consumed on 9-24-15. Nice, fresh, hoppy aroma. Citric smell features an orange peel scent. Light swamp water smell in only a slightly bad way. Simple but good, dry, hoppy flavor matches the aroma. Lemon flavor. Quite dry artertaste is not bitter. Light to medium body, light for the style. Lively and frothy in the palate. Pours a clear gold with a small amount of beige head. Good lacing. A pretty good and likable IPA but a subdued and not special one. Utterly decent. hman43 (1751) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - SEP 4, 2015
