COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditional Hefe is big on banana and clove flavors from the yeast, with a sweet finish from the wheat heavy malt bill. A perfect beer to enjoy on a sunny day with the Carolina blue sky above.

On tap at Hickory Tavern. Faint citrus bread aroma. Good lookin cloudy orange with lacing. Tasting lemon, wheat, yeast, pepper, coriander, other spices. Nice full flavor for a style that can be thin. Well done.

Can: Cloudy, yellow-orange with a small, off-white head. Lactic wheat malt, banana, orange aroma. Taste is milky, banana, wheat malt, lemon.... OK.....but a strange sourness to it.....Sweet, but not a good balance with the tanginess.

Can (courtesy of Weihenweizen). Sour milk, lemon, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet banana, clove, wheat malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay/sour milk flavor. Nice body. Okay - a fair hefeweizen.

This is a very interesting beer. Its light in color and more like your traditional Hef. Very well balanced.

Draft at World of Beer Charlotte. Pours yellow and cloudy with an inch of thick white foam like a hefe should. Some solid banana notes on the nose. Taste starts strong with nice banana and clove notes but it fades a bit for me and becomes a little too dry In the finish.

Draught. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a relatively small white head on it. Nose is a little wheaty, and I get some nice citrus tones coming through. Taste has a little orange coming through to me as well. Pretty light and drinkable on a summer afternoon.
