Can thanks to Andrew. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is strong pine, melon, grass, pineapple, mango, orange peel, hint of blueberry. Medium body, dusty, tropical fruit, light pine, a bit dry but still some juice, bitterness opens up a bit more as it warms, very good. Darwenus (1178) - Virginia, USA - JAN 31, 2017
A really nice, bright, lemony IPA. Pours coudy yellow with average head and carbonation. The aroma is slightly sweet with lemon and orange overtones. That’s also the flavor, and the finish is clean and crisp. This would be a wonderful warm weather beer. DCLawyer (2949) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - JAN 30, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 17, 2018 Crowler. Hazy gold with big frothy white head. A: citrus and pine hops, tropical fruit, caramel malt. T: dank and resinous, with citrus and pine hops, pretty biting, with tropical fruit, earth, malt. Quite good. jc1762 (1693) - JAPAN - JAN 29, 2017
Thanks DCLawyer for the crowler! Poured into a snifter showing moderately filtered caramel orange with a finger of clean white foam.
Immediately upon opening the crowler, strong juicy notes of mango, pineapple, hints of kiwi and lime come through the nose. This is promising.
The palate is highly carbonated and light to medium bodied. Bone dry with moderately intense flavors of grapefruit, mango, and light citrus throughout. Light bitterness evened out by malts on the finish. Could be a bit juicier but still an excellent beer.
