This IPA is a hop-heads dream. Massively hopped with Falconers Flight after the boil and allowed to whirlpool an additional 30 minutes, this IPA is then double dry hopped with Falconers Flight and Motueka. Prepare for a hop punch that Captain Falcon would be proud of, "Falconnnn punch!".

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange from the crowler with fluffy off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of big piney hop notes over biscuit grain. Taste follows, clean and simple. Solid, nothing amazing though.

Tap. Tap list mentions centennial and Columbus, no Moteuka. Hmmm. Pours quite hazy golden, medium creamy off white head, dissipates slowly with nice lacing. Aroma is pine resin, grapefruit pith, hints of lemon. Super old school, this one. Flavors is light plus sweet, light bitter, juicy, piney, hella grapefruit. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Touch of lingering bitterness. Really well crafted and a nice reminder that old school IPA hops can still produce an excellent beer. Kudos.

Pours a hazy and cloudy yellow body with a one finger foamy white head. The nose is big tropical and fruity hops with a light pale malt base. The flavor is bright and fruity with lots of hop flavor and minimal bitterness. Light bodied and fairly dry with a soft fizzy carbonation level. Nice beer. I like the heavy handed hoppiness and the light malt influence.

A strong, tangy IPA that flirts with sweetness without ever tipping in that direction. Pours hazy orange without a lot of foam. The aroma is grapefruit, lemon, all kinds of citrus, and a hint of sugar. Something in the background reminds me a little of chewing gum. The flavor is big and clean, the finish is dry. Hell yes.

Bought at Triple Crossing Brewing (Foushee St.) downtown Richmond, Va on 12/10/16. 4 Pack 16 oz. cans $12 plus tax. Pop the top - Hop forward citrus pine and sweet malts come through! Balanced but maybe leans toward the hops a little more! DIPA?? Taste begins with assertive hops tropical fruits grass earthiness and bread from the malts - then grapefruit smoothness to the end - moderate bitterness. GGreat Beer!! No wonder this is their Flagship beer! Drinks smooth and light for a 7% ABV beer! Just a hint of the roasted malts! Love this beer and cant wait to try their other offerings! Learned last night that they are expanding to another location at Fulton Hill area of Richmond - Hatcher Street! Support your Local!! ENJOY!!
