330 ml. bottle, pours a copper-golden colour, with a small head and almost no retention. Smell of fried potatoes... no wait, that’s my neighbour cooking. OK, now the window is closed, smell of caramel, citrus, spices, fennel and some notes of oak barrel. Very soft palate, maybe a bit watery. Taste is more or less the same as aroma, with the feeling that you’re drinking a liquor rather than a beer. Maybe not completely balanced, but it’s a very good beer.
Keg at boudewijn. Pours deep golden, nose is caramel, sugary, hints of fruit, taste is similar. felip989 (202) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - SEP 5, 2017
Deep golden with a small white head. Aroma is bread, oranges, pineapple, passion fruit, some acetaldehyde. Taste is citric fruits with some yeast and pale malt. Light bitter aftertaste. Alex60 (321) - - AUG 30, 2017

Sample at the brewery. Golden color, clear, big white head, persistent.Malty aroma with sugar and honey with light grassy notes, stone spices as well.Taste is sugary, syrupy, sweet very light bitterness so it goes in similarly to a malt liquor and alone may be meaningless. But, with Farmdal cheese the match is incredible, an explosion of flavours. Piepenhenrich (1124) - Steinbach, GERMANY - AUG 26, 2017
A well crafted Tripel, nice hint of hops adding to the already complex flavors typical for a Tripel.

From 33cl bottle. Pours classic gold with medium evanescent foam, fine and white. Aroma is fruity but also hay and grass, nicely balanced. Body is relatively dense with good carbonation. Taste is definitely sweet, with a good bitterness for a Belgian triple. Finish is a little too sweet in my view. martjoobolut (4947) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 22, 2017
Bottle (random place Antwerp). Pours golden. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, spicy, some booze. Flavor is sweet and bitter, belgian yeast, sugar, fruits, booze, spiciness. Finish has some bitterness. Overall: solid triple. 90 (726) - BELGIUM - AUG 15, 2017
Malt and citrus in Aroma. Taste is very middle of the road. Some malt and bitter hops. Too sweet. Metallic. More citrus. Another bummer by Duvel-Moortgat. They’d better bring Firestone Walker beer (which they bought) on the Belgian market. But then again, who would this stuff then? huineman (728) - Madrid, SPAIN - AUG 14, 2017
Draught at De Koninck Duvel Bar, Antwerp. Pale greenish yellow (not golden) pour with a short-lived, off-white head. Aroma is quite high: old oaken cask, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, citrus peel, dandelion, butter... Very complex indeed. Taste begins sweetish, slightly pungent, medium-bodied. Not really sour, nor even completely fresh. Persistent (but low level) bitterness. Long-lasting finish with a touch of roses. Good. ccubaka (52) - LATVIA - AUG 5, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 5, 2017 Nice aroma, refreshing and a bit fruity. Big head. Just a bit carbonated. Overall refreshing, light, pleasant.
