Bottle courtesy of JStax, thanks! Dark opaque brown color, almost black, tan head. Big vanilla aroma with cinnamon close behind. Spice leads the flavor, with vanilla and sweet bourbon, soft roast. Tasty.

Bottle thanks to Alan. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong cinnamon, vanilla, roast, hazelnuts, bourbon. Medium body, roasted malt, hazelnut, vanilla bean, nice sweetness, light booze finish, very nice.

bottle at Muckfest 2017. Strong vanilla and sweetness nose. Moderate cinnamon. Deep brown pour. Sweet sugary mouthfeel. Like crystallized sugar. Moderate booze character but not over whelming. Good

12 ounce bottle poured into a pint glass. The beer is a dark brown with a khaki head of foam. The aroma has cinnamon and coconut notes. Fairly cakey. Reminds me a lot of spice cake. Sweet and a little boozy. Big body and moderate carbonation. Chewy overall. Very good.

On tap @ FoBAB 2016. Pour is amber/brown with a very small off-white head. Notes of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, bourbon, brown sugar, dark fruit, and a bit of booze. Finish has more nuts / spice.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of malt, vanilla, cinnamon, chocolate and bourbon. Malty and chocolatey flavor with cinnamon spiciness before a subtle bourbon finish. This came together well.

12 oz bottle shared with drsordr. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, cinnamon, caramel, vanilla cream, wood, bourbon, becomes more sweet and loses some of the hazelnut character which is the signature part of the beer.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour murky brown with moderate tan head. Nose buttercream icing, cinnamon, vanilla, light wood, and nutty. Taste up front a little muted than expected. A littler generic muddled sweetness and not as much vanilla as expected. Light wood and nutty mid pale but nowhere near the hazelnut if the base. Finish comes through nicely with huge lasting cinnamon.

12 oz. bottle via trade. Thanks again, Derek! Pours a cloudy amber brown with a small off-white head that settles into a thin ring immediately. The aroma works better than the flavor overall. The flavor is boozy and spicy and sweet but not as well balanced. Vanilla, cinnamon, bourbon, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruit, and hazelnut. Light-medium bodied, with a boozy, spicy, sweet mouthfeel. Doesn’t quite stand up to the promise of the nose, but good.

Draft. Some malt and roast notes, bourbon vanilla and cinnmaon, sweet, delivers what it says.
