22 oz. bottle via local trade, silver wax. The regular Rye was in a 750 and Coconut and Coffee were in bombers, oddly enough. Anyway, it pours a cloudy amber brown with a small off-white head that settles into a ring. Notes of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, oak, and dried sweet fruits. Medium-bodied, with a sweet, coating mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Nice variant; the regular Rye worked best of the trio but this is even with Coffee. Bottle shared at RBWG. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy tan head. Semi-dark malts in the nose, ripening berries, figs. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with lightly tangy dark fruits, toasted coconut, toffee. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish, with some brown sugar, toffee, alcohol, berries. A tasty beverage.

Bomber to mini-snifter, shared with a bunch of folks at Bells 30th Anniversary Party (thanks brew3crew). Looks good; a translucent dark brownish cola with bubbly beige head. Smells good too; malty with notes of vanilla, coconut, hazelnut, caramel, and oak. Tastes like it smells with a toasted coconut presence and a medium full-bodied mouthfeel. Great stuff! Draft. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted sweet nut, chocolate, coconut and dark whiskey aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy whiskey, chocolate nut coconut sweet flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Draft sample at Listermann/Triple Digit during Chickow Day. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small beige head . The aroma had caramel,chocolate, hazelnut, coconut, sweet malts, rye whiskey, and oak. The flavor is very similar to the base beer with some integrated coconut notes and the rye whiskey barrel character. Works pretty well with the hazelnut, chocolate and everything else, even has some bitterness to the finish. I thought this was very good, the best of the three rye whiskey versions and right up there with the best treatments yet.
