On the weaker side, but an amazing finish. This beer could be a dessert, as it has just the right mix of bitter, and almost buttery flavour. I loved it, shame I can’t find it anywhere.

Fast settling, minimal head. Flowery scent with light taste. Palate evolves with malty & nutty flavours. Very drinkable when well kept.

Cask conditioned @ The Milburys, Beauworth (rebadged as Milbury’s Best). Doughy yeast, flowery dust hop aroma. Dry with malty biscuit flavours. Excellent session ale.

Cask at Roger’s. Fruity soft and buzzing with flavour. An open the lid and pour down your neck beer that satisfies and excites. Stunning.

Cask at GBBF 08. Clear amber. Not too hoppy or flavoursome on the nose or at first sip, but it then delivers a fantastic nutty finish and aftertaste. Very nice.

2nd beer from my Christmas gift set and much better than the 1st bottle. A lot hoppier than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Nice carbonation leaving a thin white head. I could drink a few of these.

Cask @ the wonderful Wellington Arms, Bedford. Colour of dark gold/amber. Decent amount of head with extreme lacing. Light fresh grassy aroma. Unremarkable but inoffensive. Taste is nicely balanced between sweet and bitter. The maltiness shines through but is tempered by the bitterness. An excellent bitter from a class brewery.

Mid-amber and served (where I tried it anyway) with a thick creamy head. Flavours of hay and biscuit with bittering hops in balance. Not the most adventurous of recipes but it does well what it was designed to do. Nice.

Cask at St Urho´s Pub, Helsinki. Pours clear Golden with a weak head as expected. Aroma of caramel and spicy hops. Taste is rich for a 3,8% beer, solid mouthfeel, rich caramel with a good bitter herbal and spicy Finnish.
