Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Jan 2015 - Reddish-Brown in colour. Malty; lightly roasted malts, caramel, chocolate. Hoppy; earthy and spicy hops. Fruity; light citrus-grapefruit. Well balanced malt/hop/fruit. Earthy malty with little bitterness. Very drinkable. (2011-01-13)

Cask at WHOAF 2015. It pours clear deep red-brown with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, earthy, toasted grain, varnish, caramel, some ginger bread, spice and Christmas cake. The taste is rich, bitter, woody, biscuit malt, toasted grass, must, earth, over-ripe orchard fruits, wood, varnish, ginger and Christmas cake with a dry, lightly spice finale. Medium body and sot carbonation. Pretty decent.
