Cask-conditioned at the Victoria, Clifton Lido, Bristol 1/11/2012. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Red fruit, caramel and earthy malt aroma with a hint of roast. Flavour was also sweet and fruity, with a hint of spice and decent, bitter finish. Good. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2010
Cask conditioned handpump The Harp London. A dark dark ruby coloured beer with a thin beige head and lacing. A smoky spicy fruity beer with good hop bitterness and decent balancing malts too. Porterish malts and modern hopping. Liked it.

Amber colour. Pleasant but indeed explosive hop aroma. Richly bitter with a velvetty, rounded mouthfeel. SilkTork (5946) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - NOV 14, 2003
Gravity @ Medway Beer Fest. Slightly dirty amber colour. Lovely hop burst - ravishing and exciting. Beautifully supported by a clean but generous honey sweetness. A long as the longest thing you can think of finish - beautifully hoppy, dry and bitter. A splendid bitter that fully delivers the witches promise. Beer of the festival. omhper (26035) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 12, 2003
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2004 Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Amber colour. Intense hay aroma. Superb fruity rounded maltiness. Full bodied, yet very quenchable. Long salty, really bitter finish with some resin. Outstanding in it's simplicity.
