Ungstrup (38248) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2004
[Vintage 1992 - sampled 2004] A hazy orange beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of alcohol, dust, peach, and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, malt and fruit - especially peach. The alcohol runs burning over the tongue and in the throat - and still the body is surprisingly thin for an 8% ABV beer.
Earlier Rating: 7/4/2003 Total Score: 3.3
The aroma is slightly fruity. The color is a dark orange and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is fruity and prickling from a good malt blend with some notes of alcohol. But all in all it is a very simple flavor with a good palate.

Bottled. Honeyish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is yeast, fruits and some hints of grass. Flavour is yeast, alcohol and grass. A quite boring tripel, which has a bit too much alcohol in the flavour.
Earlier Rating: 12/19/2005 Total Score: 3.3

omhper (25565) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUL 7, 2007
Draught at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Clear golden, average head. Aroma of banana and canned pineapple. Sweet and fruity with some drying grassy hops. Spritzy and lively with dense malt underneath. Peppery arousing alcohol comes through before a spicy finish with some bitterness. An unadventurous but really well made tripel.
Earlier Rating: 5/26/2002 Total Score: 3.6
Sampling of the 1990 version in 2002: Pale amber, no head. Fruity aroma. Malty, sweet and mature. Short, slightly dusty flavour. Good, but probably over the hill agewise.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) This version at 8% ABV. I found a vintage version of this one. (The best before date was in 1991). Fully golden, apparently clear beer with heavy sediment. (Chinese river-water). Pronounced head and vital carbonation. The outlines have vanished but I do sense some bitter hops. 231004 Fresh version sampled: 8/4/8/4/16=4 at 170298
Earlier Rating: 5/1/2005 Total Score: 3.4
(Bottle 25 cl) Quite pale, hazy. Some sweetness, lots of yeast and fruit with some hoppiness to create a nice balance. Nice Tripel. 180493

Leighton (22054) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 5, 2011
Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours a slightly hazy, pale gold with a fizzy, white head. Holds a rich bubblegum, yeast aroma. Flavor is lovely, medium sweet, pleasantly yeasty with notes of coriander and orange citrus. Medium bodied with average, fairly lively carbonation. Sweet finish, light candi notes, more citrus, yeast and mild bubblegum. Solid beer.
