A: The pour is a clear straw color with a finger of white head and minimal lacing.
S: The citrus aroma on this beer is outstanding. Sharp grapefruit and tangerine peel notes along with just a touch of grass. I don’t pick up hardly any malt to this.
T: Quite bitter with tons of grapefruit flavor, both flesh and peel. There’s a minimal grassy hop aroma and quite a bit of pine as well. Once again, not much malt to speak of.
M: The body is sort of light, but holds up well enough, and the carbonation is moderate.
D: The first beer I had at Triple Rock and perhaps the best one. They call it a bitter, but it’s most certainly an American style Pale, just incredibly hoppy. bb (9657) - Alamo, California, USA - DEC 30, 2010
Draft. Golden-amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit aroma. Grain and grapefruit flavor with light earth. Medium bodied. Grain and light earth lingers with light spice, light citrus, and light pine. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - DEC 10, 2010
Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Big hoppy grassy citrus and pine aroma and taste with a crisp bitter bite.
