A: The pour is a dark amber or light brown color (maybe a mix of the two) with a creamy off-white head.
S: Begins with some citrus hops, likely from the dry-hopping. There’s a bit of alcohol to it and a pretty nice toasted malt, toffee, and caramel note. Some minor influence of chocolate and roast.
T: There’s a decent hop bitterness to go along with what is a sturdy brown ale base. A mild toasted malt character, along with toffee, and bitter chocolate. There is a bit of a pine flavor from the hops as well.
M: The body is medium and so is the carbonation.
D: An interesting beer that was good to drink and easy to do so as well. Might be worth having a pint of. bhensonb (15187) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 11, 2007
