Clear amber color with ivory head. Tropical fruit, spicy herbal aromas. Med body. Spicy hop, tropical fruit, dry cracker flavors with a drying finsh----good
On tap at Triple Rock. It pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma has some pine and citrus, pretty standard. The flavor is the same, but lacks the punch that you would expect from TR… pretty decent, but not great. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAR 29, 2013
On tap at brewery. Clear golden orange with a fizzy white head. Big grassy citrus, lemon grass, and caramel aroma and taste with grainy bitterness to the finish. Smooth medium bodied palate. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 7, 2012
A - Pours a hazy golden-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down fairly quickly leaving behind some lacing.
S - Aroma is full of grassy and pine hops with grapefruit and other tropical fruit hops and some caramel and biscuit malts.
T - Starts off with some grapefruit, pineapple, and other citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, strong pine and grassy hops come through with some stronger bitterness and some more sweet, slightly bready malts. The finish is a mix of resiny pine and grassy hops, some citrus and almost spicy hop, some good bitterness, and some sweet caramel malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry, bitter, and resiny finish.
D - Very drinkable. Really fantastic IPA with a really nice piney hop profile and good bitterness throughout.
