On tap at the brewpub pouring clear copper with off white head. The aroma is sweet citrusy cotton candy moving toward resiny hop bitterness. The taste is up front sweet citrus hop flavor followed by increasing bitterness that gets somewhat resiny with pine hops by midway. Nice citrusy brew with pleasing levels of sweet malts backing up the hops. Darn good IPA. I can see drinking this on a regular basis. bb (9268) - Alamo, California, USA - FEB 25, 2010

Tap at the brewpub. Pours amber with a pale beige head. Medium body with mild creamy carbonation. Flavor is amber topped by a lot of hop. It’s a very nice IPA. Oh, to have it on cask at 20 Tanks. Or even on tap at 20 Tanks. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - FEB 9, 2010
Damn fine beer. Clear light orange with a fizzy white head. Well balanced between the caramel flavors and the hop bitterness. Crisp and very drinkable. The 7.2 abv is very well hidden.

Tasted at the 6th Annual Triple Rock Firkin Fest on 4/4/2009. This IPA pours a fairly cloudy medium orange gold color from the firkin. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral hops and sweet fruit malts. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and grapefruity. Nice balance. Soft carbonation. Nice balance. The hops bitterness build as you go. A touch of dryness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean, crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
