Draft. Very dark brown beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and light darker malt aroma. Grapefruit flavor with light darker malts and light red fruit. Fuller bodied. Grapefruit and red fruit lingers with some darker malts. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - FEB 27, 2010
On tap at the brewpub pouring clear mahogany with thin nearly tan head. The mild aroma puts out some malt sweetness bleeding into ripe cherries and plums. The taste is a bit rough and raw but somehow still restrained. I get sweet thick malts, ripe bright cherries, plums and prunes to start. It then becomes a bit raisin like mixing with a malt sweet nuttiness. Into the finish the flavor picks up thin layers of pine hop bitterness too. Nice stuff that should become amazing with some cellar time to smooth it out. yespr (46523) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 16, 2010

Nice ruby red brown color with a creamy tan head. Good aroma with the malts and hops competing with each other and some toffee notes. Tastes of caramel and toffee, but not very sweet, this has a lot of north west hop varieties giving it a lot citrus and pine character and a decent bitterness.
