Tasted on tap at the Bistro 12th Annual IPA Festival on 8/8/09. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral and citrus. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Medium to high bitterness IPA. Good carbonation. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap at the ’09 Bistro IPA Fest in Hayward, CA. Mostly clear golden-orange with a white head. Aroma of citrus/pine hops and a little sweet malt. Flavor similar, citrusy with a substantial hop bite. Medium body; oils linger on the palate a little bit. Stacked up fairly well compared to the rest of the pack at the fest. joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - AUG 9, 2009
Tasted at the Bistro IPA fest. A very straightforward IPA. Nothing too surprising. Citrus and pine in the aroma with a fruity, bitter finish. Does for your taste buds and palate that you want an IPA to do. Nice, well made example of the style, which was welcome what with all the envelope pushers available here.
