From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown to redish with a small off-white head. Fruity hops aroma. Fruity, caramelish and slight sweet initial flavour. Followed by a more fruity and bitter hops flavour. Ends with a touch of roasted malt and light bitterness. Lasting fruity impression.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours crystal clear copper with lasting off white head. The aroma is sweet crystal malts, citrus to spicy to floral hops and just a sense of oxidation or maybe just a note or two of earthy like hops. The taste is caramely sweet with even more sweetness coming from crystal malts. There’s also some pleasing levels of floral to spicy hops too. The hops lead into grapefruit, tangelo and more floral hops beyond midway and into the finish creating a nice balance with the sweetness. 19Ei8hty (1166) - Washington, USA - SEP 24, 2008
NIce clear copper body. Deep caramel malt backbone with light hop pine and citrus. Somewhat floral. Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - SEP 21, 2008
Tap at the brewery. I found this to be a really good beer. Beautiful color. Nice hop flavor to it, but very well balanced. Very good. Nik925 (795) - USA - AUG 18, 2008
Minimal aroma, lots of malt, low on bitter and hop flavor. Well made (great head and lacing) but nothing special. An average well made amber. bhensonb (15077) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 11, 2007
Red Rock on cask (6.0%) at the brewpub. Nice hop aroma. Dark reddish color with a good beige head. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Caramel malt with a hint of vanilla and a good amount of floral hop. Finish is dry with roast malt, tinge of vanilla, and a decent amount of bitter. Quite good. My rating may seem high, but this was real ale - has to be better than the dead stuff on tap.
