On tap at the brewpub. A hoppy rice beer! Cool concept. It pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The flavor has distinct notes of rice water with strong citrus and pine. I’m not sure this one really works. It has kind of a weird finish… not sure if its because of the rice or because there’s not enough of a malt base to support the hops. Not offensive, just a bit off. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - JUN 11, 2013
Draft. Light golden beer with an off-white head. Tropical and summer fruit aroma. Tropical fruit and light grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Tropical fruit and light grapefruit lingers. Zymurgeist2 (2179) - Redwood City, California, USA - MAY 27, 2013
On tap at Gourmet Haus. Papaya, passion fruit and wet meadow. Clear straw with a full white head that lingers and leaves lacing down glass. Citrus hops flavor with grass and sweet grain malt. Some nice chewyness, but otherwise a medium-thin mouthfeel. Moderately high bitterness balances well and doesn’t overpower. Pretty tasty. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 5, 2013
On tap at brewery. Pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Big grassy and citrus hops aroma and taste with a bright palate and a surprising bitter bite for such a low IBU. Nice.
