Love these single hop beers from TR! This one pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is unusual with grass, hay, and eucalyptus. The flavor is the same with hay, grain, and an earthy/woody cedar like finish. Very strange beer, as I think Rainier is an Americanized version of Hallertauer, but this was another tasty hop explosion like the others. Well done. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 5, 2011
Draft. Golden-amber beer with a cream colored head. Pot and earthy aroma with pine. Pine and pot flavor with earthiness. Medium bodied. Pine and light grapefruit lingers with pot and earth. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 5, 2011
On tap. Pours with a hazy yellow-golden body with a small, fading white head. Aromas of citrus, orange, herbal, weed, lemons, and spicy hops. Minimal malt or fermentation aromas. Flavors are herbal, herbaceous, anise, fennel, grassy, dry. Very light malt and yeast flavors. Spicy and herbal hop character. Lively bubbles, dry/attenuated finish. Not my favorite hop. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - APR 24, 2011
Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet caramel and spicy grassy aroma. Tastes of malt grass and sweet spice with a grassy finish.
